There are few Australian artists whose futures look as bright as those of Canyons. Their infectious blend of deep, soulful, yet utterly danceable disco has been echoing throughout Sydney’s underground dance floors for the last year and now the world is starting to take notice.

DJ Christmas Hamper and Dj Raffle Ticket have been very boys of late. They have played almost every major festival on the circuit, and are the latest additions to the Modular Recordings family. Their label Hole In The Sky has boasted a handful of killer releases this year, including The Delicate Genius’ Mz Honda Bassline. Oh and they’ve just returned from a rock star tour of the US where they were promoting their latest 12” release on James Murphy’s uber-exclusive DFA label. Yes ladies and gentlemen, we are about to witness rise and rise of Canyons, and I’ve gotta say it couldn’t be happening to two nicer guys.
